Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of The Franchise OG website and the free intro call, which are operated by MFO Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or requesting a call, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The free intro call

The intro call is a free, 30-minute phone conversation about franchise brokering. There is no cost and no obligation. You request the call through the site, and we call you back.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a call. We may decline or not respond to a request at our discretion.

Information only, not an offer or professional advice

This is not an offer to sell a franchise. Franchise offerings are made only by Franchise Disclosure Document.

Everything on the site and on the call is general information and our opinion. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting or investment advice. Before making any business or financial decision, including joining a broker network or buying a franchise, talk to qualified professionals.

Figures on the site, such as years in franchising, candidates placed and brokers mentored, describe past experience. They are not a promise or prediction of your results. We make no guarantee of income, earnings or success, and results vary from person to person.

Calls, emails and texts

By submitting a request, you agree that we and our affiliates may contact you at the phone number and email address you provide, about your request and about franchise brokering opportunities. Where we send marketing text messages, we will do so only with your consent, which is not a condition of requesting a call. You can opt out at any time as described in our Privacy policy.

Using the site

You agree to give accurate information and to use the site lawfully. You agree not to:

• submit false information or someone else’s details without their permission;
• copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the site by automated means;
• interfere with the site, its security, or other people’s use of it;
• use the site to send spam or anything unlawful or harmful.

Our content

The site’s text, design, logos and images belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use needs our written permission.

Third-party services and links

The site may use or link to services run by others, such as a form provider or social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our affiliates, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of the site or the call, or from decisions you make based on them. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the call is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us and our affiliates harmless from claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
