Two ways to own a business
Most people who land here want to own something. Buying a franchise is one way in. Becoming the broker who helps people buy them is another.
-
Buy a franchise
You run one business. You typically pay a franchise fee, fund the build-out, sign a lease, hire staff, and pay ongoing royalties.
-
Become a franchise broker
You match people with the right franchise. You work from home with no inventory and no staff, and franchisors usually pay you when a candidate signs.
The executives, sales pros and consultants franchisors want as owners are the same people who make great brokers. On the call, we will figure out which path fits you.
Wondering if brokering is your next move?
You are an executive, a sales pro or a consultant who wants work you own. In 30 minutes, we will talk through:
- Whether this work fits you. Often the honest answer is “not yet”
- How brokers find good candidates without buying junk leads
- Who pays brokers, when and why
- What it really costs to get started, and what to ask before you pay anyone

You will know your next move: buy, broker, or wait. All three are good outcomes.
What people ask me before we talk.
Is the call really free?
Yes. No cost and no obligation. If brokering fits you, I will tell you how to start. If it doesn’t, I will tell you that too.
I came here to buy a franchise. Why talk about brokering?
Because the skills that make a strong franchise owner often make a strong broker, and brokering does not require funding a location. We will look at both paths and you decide.
Who pays a broker? Does it cost the buyer anything?
Franchisors usually pay the broker when a candidate signs. A buyer typically pays nothing for a broker’s help.
Do I have to pay to become a broker?
Often, yes. Many broker networks charge to join and train you. On the call, I will walk you through what those costs look like and what to ask before you pay anyone.
I am just starting to look. Is it too early?
No. Most people I talk to are early. That is the best time to call, before you sign with anyone or spend money on anything.
Do I need franchise experience?
No. Many good brokers came from corporate sales, HR or consulting. What you bring matters more than what you know today.
What happens after the call?
Nothing you don’t choose. You will leave knowing your next move: buy, broker, or wait. Any follow-up is up to you.
What should I bring?
Your background, what draws you to franchising, and any franchises or broker networks you are already looking at. That is plenty.
